Product Description A Classic padded bike short from AeroTech Designs. The ideal short for the cyclist who wants excellent comfort during your bicycle ride. Premium quality, four-way stretch tricot fabric moves with the cycling motion. This short has a smooth, two panel construction. No Leg grippers for extra leg comfort. Shorts stay in place without grippers because shorts are make from highest quality fabrics. The smooth, seamless pad reduces opportunity for abrasion and saddle sores. Bike Shorts add comfort on longer bike rides because the compression the spandex against your muscles supports your hard work on the bike. Cross Grain Cutting maximizes stretch performance of spandex fabric. Fabric is four way, 7 1/2 oz, nylon/lycra, tricot knit - THE BEST! You want Comfort on the bicycle. The men's cycling shorth has a padded crotch for comfort on the bicycle. Waist is a soft elastic that is coverstitched and tacked for durability. Crotch padding is multiple layers with padding in the places it is needed - Perfecto. Pad's surface is a smooth, coolmax microfiber, that is laminated to foam and tricot, it is antibacterial and stays dry and inhibits the growth of bacteria.

Comfortable for moderate length rides. July 26, 2010 William Purchased a pair for my wife and myself. Our bike rides are 18-25 mile trips. So far these shorts have done everything expected of them. Both comfortable and adequate amount of padding in appropriate places. Durability remains to be seen. I would highly recommend these shorts to anyone that takes moderate length rides.
Great budget biking shorts July 19, 2010 J. Gerson Just took these out on a 40+ mile bike. They were great - very comfortable and perfect for the ride. Great budget biking shorts.
Great gel shorts July 19, 2010 Brian P. Brooks (Kensington, MD) I ride about 4 miles each way to work. These gel shorts, especially when coupled with a padded liner, make the ride much more comfortable.
You get what you pay for July 4, 2010 Ray Brown (Memphis, TN United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although inexpensive, these AeroTech shorts feel flimsy and insubstantial. The fabric is thin and lightweight. They don't compress the leg muscles as well as more expensive shorts.
My major complaint, though, is that within two weeks of purchase, the material at the crotch wore through from friction with the saddle. None of my other shorts, more expensive and made of more substantive lycra, have done that. These shorts can now only be used for liners, not the purpose for which I bought them or for which they were advertised.
They rate one star only because the chamois is reasonably comfortable and delivery was prompt.
Great value June 19, 2010 KBR (Minnesota, USA) These shorts are a great value. The quality of material, fit, and feel are on a par with more expensive products. The only drawback is the chamois, which is a gel-like center strip with two fiber wing strips. The good news is that it is not bulky and is reasonably comfortable in terms of sit-bone padding and friction. I don't like bulky, heavily padded shorts but, while these are comfortable, they get a little thin on rides over 90 minutes or so (I am on an unpadded, very firm saddle). Therefore, I recommend these for quick rides/spin classes and will wear shorts with better pads on my longer treks. Great for the price and application. Check out the Pearl Izumi Quest for a better pad at just a little more money.
