 Stylish but low end bag. September 7, 2010

I purchased this bag to replace my J. Cole system bag which sadly ripped after about a year of use. I picked this bag partially because of the styling which is trendy but still manly enough for my husband to carry around without feeling embarrassed. I also see lots of Moms with Skip Hop bags attached to their strollers so they must be good right? Sadly, I am incredibly disappointed with this bag. Although I like the look of the bag it is pretty poor quality. I can't believe that I paid $55 for it. The material is on the thin side and somewhat flimsy. I was attracted to this bag as well because of the flap. I like to be able to put things in pockets and then close the bag overtop of them so things don't fall out. When I fill this bag with everything I need the flap does not actually stay closed properly despite the fact that there are multiple magnets sewn into the side of the bag. I also can't just flip it closed because the placement of the magnets is such that they don't catch the flap properly. So every time I go to close the bag I need to very carefully position the flap so it closes properly and stays shut. Frankly, I find this to be annoying. I should have just replaced my J Cole bag with another J Cole bag!

I hate to say it but I was kind of disappointed in this purchase. I was excited to have gotten a great deal on this diaper bag, but in the long run it ended up costing me more because I had to get a new one after only a couple months of use. It is IMPOSSIBLE to clean. If I had purchased the black one I'm sure the dirt would not show up as much, but I got the light blue one and everything shows up on it. Ido like all the compartments which help keep everything organized, bit ultimately it is way too small to pack up enough stuff just for a simple outing. So I only give this diaper bag 3 stars...sorry =(

I got this bag after the birth of our second child, after searching all over for a replacement for our first diaper bag. I wanted a bag that was easy to get into quickly and was of a much more managable size. I also wanted something cute enough to double as a purse, since I already had enough to tote around with two children in diapers. This bag is everything I wanted. It's thoughtfully designed with easily accessible pockets for everything I need - diapers for two, snacks, wipes, my nursing cover, drink for my toddler, cell phone... It's comfortable to carry and clips beautifully to our stroller. I'm so glad I found this bag - I was not disappointed!

I received two bags during my showers and I used them both for several months. A friend of mine had a Skip Hop Dash bag and I liked the pockets and the flap. The size is appropriate (not too large or too small). My son was 6 months old when I bought this but I wish I had bought it before. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the stroller clasps that Skip Hop bags have. A lot of people have noted that you cannot put something in every pocket and that is true but that happens with most bags. I don't use every pocket everyday...
This bag is definately worth the money and I like that it is available in a color that is not pink, blue, or purple.
